US CONSTITUTION = Due Process. Don’t be a Traitor. Support working people
To: Rep. Mackenzie
From: A constituent in Easton, PA
May 1
Dear Representative Mackenzie -
I received your recent letters and really appreciate that you are taking the time to respond to constituents about such important issues as Medicare and Medicaid, the economy and immigration issues.
However - I hate to be the one to tell you this but deferring to the executive branch is the sign of a weak member of congress, someone who is willing to submit to the whims of an authoritarian - support, corporations and billionaires instead of hard-working Pennsylvanians.
This is hard to write, and very disappointing. This country is founded on the principles of separate branches of government, who provide a check on each other.
Your response about people being deported without due process is a particular concern. This is a fundamental right of everyone who is in this country, whether accused of a crime or not. We all have a right to due process – the right to defend ourselves in a court of law. The fact that you are suggesting it’s OK to deport people without due process simply means you are a traitor - you are AGAINST American values. There’s no other way to describe such a heinous position and you need to check yourself.
We will vote you out if you continue to take stands that violate the Constitution of the United States and the Law.
To say that someone has a a tattoo and therefore should be deported Without Due Pocess to an El Salvador prison is frankly Super Messed-Up.
Pete Hegseth has Nazi tattoos a what is your position on HIS anti-American tattoos ? Do you support deportation of Pete Hegseth ?
This country is about WE THE PEOPLE. Support working people, not authoritarian dictators.
Thank you.
