So here we are: In an interview on Fox News yesterday, Trump said, “Who ever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election where you have every right to do it … ” Yup. Trump thinks he's above the law and the terrible scotus immunity decision reinforces the danger. What you are doing to ensure that there will be safety after the election? What you are doing do legislate to save our democracy from this or future aspiring tyrants? What public statements will you make to lead and educate Americans about these issues? I am beyond disappointed that Collins and Golden do not grasp the gravity of the moment. I thank Senator King for his moral clarity and integrity.
