I understand that a group of Democratic representatives, including Reps. Delia Ramirez and Analilia Mejia, just introduced the Living Wage for All act, a bill that would gradually raise the federal minimum wage to $25 an hour. I want the Congressmember to support it. Also, I’m really upset about the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act and allowing states to deny minority populations fair representation. Please ask the Congressmember to speak out against this clearly political attack on our democracy and protect our constitutional rights by supporting the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, reintroducing the Freedom to Vote Act, supporting a federal ban on partisan gerrymandering, and supporting measures to reform the Supreme Court— like term limits, court expansion, and limits on the use of shadow docket rulings.
