congress As your constituent, I am deeply concerned over the ongoing violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, particularly in Gaza. I ask you to do everything in your power to stop sending weapons to Israel that are being used in violation of international law and to commit war crimes. I also encourage you to work toward an immediate and sustained ceasefire. A ceasefire would help prevent further loss of civilian lives, allow for lifesaving humanitarian aid, and enable the safe release of hostages. Tonight, you and I will go to sleep in the safety of our homes. In Gaza, the bombardment is non-stop, nowhere is safe, and more blood is being shed. And it’s Palestinian civilians—especially children—who are suffering the most.
