Defund ICE

To: Sen. Durbin, Sen. Duckworth

From: A constituent in Chicago, IL

January 25

I am writing to ask you to oppose any DHS appropriations bill or Continuing Resolution which maintains funding for ICE. Additionally, I ask that you support legislation that claws back the $75 billion ICE slush fund created by H.R. 1 last year. ICE is operating with impunity in Minneapolis and across the country, harming our neighbors and killing lawful protesters at will. Please oppose anything that would enable this to continue, even if that requires another government shutdown.
