Stand Up Against Election Disruption – Every Vote Must Count

To: Gov. Abbott, Sen. West, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Rep. Anchía

From: A constituent in Dallas, TX

March 4

I am writing to demand that you take a strong stand in defense of our democracy. Today’s Democratic primary in Dallas and surrounding counties has been disrupted by last-minute Republican maneuvers—changing precinct maps and requiring voters to cast ballots in unfamiliar precincts. These actions are blatant attempts to suppress votes and undermine the integrity of our elections. This is corruption, plain and simple. Every eligible voter must have their voice heard, and every vote must be counted, regardless of partisan gamesmanship. I urge you to use your authority and influence to ensure that no vote is discarded, and that Texans can trust their democratic process is protected. Your leadership in holding those responsible accountable is critical. The voters of Texas are counting on you to stand up for fairness, transparency, and the fundamental right to vote.
