First: Prosecute ICE agents and their misdeeds to the fullest extent of the law. The agents in Maine and Texas that killed legal residents should be charged with murder and fined for not wearing body cams and the necessary law enforcement uniforms and identification. This government is on the wrong side of history. These attacks are the modern day Gestapo. Second: The Supreme Court is asking for additional security. This is a clear indication that the Court, too, is on the wrong side of history. Point this out openly and publicly. The Court’s rulings and behavior are shameful. To cite “originalism” as their cover, yet dismiss the understanding that the tools and information our framers had then is vastly different today, is fallacy. Today’s knowledge, information flow, and national sentiment would result in more educated outcomes by the framers. Do the right thing, Justices, or you cover your own costs for increased security.
