Senators and representative, please co-sponsor the bills banning individual stock trades by members of congress. In reading https://www.npr.org/2025/09/03/nx-s1-5485340/congress-stock-trading-bill I can't believe I agree with senator hawley on anything, but I'm shocked that on this, he's on the side of 'regular people' and commonsense regulation. Next it needs to cover the executive branch and judiciary, but I'd be happy to see something with real bipartisan support that isn't crypto, pass thru both houses. It'd be an encouraging counterpoint to the upcoming funding fights, illegal invasions, deported kids, Trans kids committing suicide, mass shootings, and cankles.
