Congress should condemn Trump’s silence on Gov. Shapiro attack

To: Pres. Trump, Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff, Rep. Rivas

From: A constituent in North Hollywood, CA

April 14

The President has been silent about the attempted assassination of Governor Josh Shapiro, on the first night of Passover no less. Congress should not assume good faith but rather that this is tacit approval for such extremist violence, and condemn him loudly. Even the Vice President has made some statement - what else can we think but that the President is pleased with what happened?
