Impeach, Convict, and Remove Attorney General Pam Bondi

To: Rep. Moolenaar, Sen. Slotkin, Sen. Peters

From: A constituent in Rockford, MI

March 6

I am writing to urge you to support impeachment, conviction, and removal of Attorney General Pam Bondi for her deliberate obstruction of congressional mandates regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case files. Bondi has violated the law by blowing past the statutory deadline to comply with bipartisan legislation co-sponsored by Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna that required the Department of Justice to make all Epstein files public. Despite boasting last July about having Epstein's so-called client list on her desk, the DOJ under her leadership withheld case files and made redactions that appeared to exceed what the law permitted. Officials falsely claimed the department had fulfilled all obligations while continuing to conceal critical materials. This obstruction prompted five Republicans to join Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to subpoena her testimony. Representative Nancy Mace stated she is "not impressed with Bondi on the Epstein files" and noted Bondi "has lost a lot of support among the base and up here as well." Representative Ro Khanna and Massie have identified as many as 20 Republicans who may support contempt proceedings if she continues withholding files. The Justice Department only released additional witness interviews late Thursday after mounting pressure, including allegations that were previously withheld from congressional oversight. This pattern of releasing information only when politically cornered demonstrates bad faith compliance with the law. Senior House Republicans have described Bondi's judgment as "not good on Epstein" and acknowledged her decisions fueled rebellion within the GOP conference. Her actions have betrayed the trust of constituents across party lines who demanded accountability and transparency in this case for years. Bondi's willful defiance of congressional authority and statutory obligations constitutes grounds for impeachment. I urge you to support articles of impeachment, vote for conviction, and remove her from office. The rule of law demands accountability for those who obstruct justice, regardless of political affiliation.
