I truly hope you will continue to vote and act to defund the portion of the budget which would fund ICE. I, and many other people who are appalled by the actions of ICE and the BPC in Minneapolis, are willing to accept a partial government shutdown to stop t he lawless behavior of the DHS agents. If it does come to a government shutdown being necessary to rein in the Constitutional and legal abuses being perpetrated by the DHS agencies, I implore you and your colleagues to go to Minneapolis and stand up for the rule of law by standing with the people peacefully protesting this government overreach. ota and beyond. This is a chance for Democrats to "put their money where their mouths are" and stand up for all the people being abused by this administration, in Minnes No one "signed up for" the Trump administration trampling the Constitution. No one "signed up for" citizens being murdered in the streets.
