Dear Senator,
I’m writing because I am furious and heartbroken over the current state of our government and your refusal to get back to work and do your job. Every day that this shutdown drags on, real people are suffering while Congress plays political games.
Federal workers are going without pay. Families are being left in uncertainty. Small businesses and communities are paying the price for inaction and for what? Political leverage? Point-scoring? That’s not leadership. It’s negligence.
You were elected to represent the people — not abandon them when things get tough. Right now, Americans need action, not excuses. Get back to the negotiating table. Find common ground. Reopen our government. Do your job.
This isn’t about party lines anymore — it’s about responsibility, integrity, and basic decency. The American people are watching, and we won’t forget who chose to stand up for us and who chose to sit back while the country struggled.
I will rally, I will donate, I will campaign, and I will fight to remove you from your seat if you do not step up for your constituents.
