My name is Sydney Cloonan, I’m a constituent from Astoria, Queens. I’m contacting to urge you, in the strongest possible terms, to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and to demand that the US stop supplying Israel’s weapons of genocide. I will not vote for you or any of my other representatives in the future and I will mobilize others to follow suit if you continue to be complicit in the mass murder of innocent people. International human rights organizations are clear - we are witnessing major war crimes and acts of ethnic cleansing that have already resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians, many of whom were children. By remaining silent, their blood is on your hands. I promise you, voters will not forget your action or your inaction in response to the genocide we are watching unfold in real time. If you don’t care about the lives of others, maybe you’ll care about the demise of your own career. Ceasefire now. Speak up and free Palestine.
