Please oppose all rules, regulations and legislation that removes protections from our national parks and monuments, and for the vulnerable plants and animals who face habitat destruction and even species extinction. The destruction and looting of our national parks and monuments is vile. As an avid hiker and frequent visitor, these places of natural wonder and beauty are essentially all that remain of our birthright- land, plants and animals protected from greedy oligarchs and corporate overlords. These places inspire and remind us all that our planet - the only one we have, be SO for real - is astonishing and worth protecting. The incessant onslaught of decisions to remove protections from the people’s natural legacy is beyond distressing, it’s paralyzing. Without a habitable planet what are we even doing?
