Thank you Senator Schiff for voting no for Bessent, Senator Padilla was absent. Why there are any democrats voting yes is beyond me. Mr. Bessent has now handed over all my personal details to Mr. Musk who illegally now appears to have control of who and what bills the treasury will pay. I now fear for my social security payments since the unelected Mr musk can decide, for example, that people who voted democratic in the last election should not receive social security payments. What are you all doing about this? Please demand loudly and clearly that what is happening must be stopped and congress needs to regain control in deciding what will be paid by the treasury. This is in essence another coup of which several have been in evidence this past week.
