I am writing to urge you to vote against the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). While Mr. Kennedy has been a prominent figure in certain advocacy circles, his history of promoting misinformation about vaccines and public health policies raises serious concerns about his ability to lead an agency tasked with safeguarding the health and well-being of all Americans.
The DHHS plays a critical role in addressing public health crises, ensuring access to healthcare, and advancing scientific research. Its leader must have a steadfast commitment to evidence-based policies and the ability to build public trust. Unfortunately, Mr. Kennedy's past statements and actions have consistently undermined these principles, which could jeopardize the effectiveness of the DHHS and erode confidence in its mission.
I strongly believe that the DHHS deserves a leader with a proven track record of supporting science, public health, and the best interests of all Americans. I urge you to oppose RFK's nomination and advocate for a nominee who is better suited to meet the challenges facing our nation's healthcare system.
Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.
Sincerely,
