Oppose SNAP restrictions and work on better healthcare.

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

December 17

The USDA has no authority to ban snack foods and sweets from being purchased with food stamps, and yet Secretary Brooke and RFK Jr are willing to turn the rules on their heads to enforce a failing agenda not guaranteed to make Americans healthy. This is just a way to punish disabled, poor people who barely make enough to pay rent. If they cared about health, they would support vaccinations, free healthcare, make brand name medicines affordable, not just generics, and expand what can be bought with SNAP, not restrict it. I am urging you to oppose these harmful waivers for SNAP recipients and impeach both RFK Jr. and Secretary Brooke.
