The editorial board of _The Philadelphia Inquirer_ recently assigned a bipartisan group of political and legal experts to write a series of opinion pieces titled “The Case for Impeachment” (https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/editorials/a/trump-impeachment-demagogue-corruption-democracy-editorials-20261011.html). I encourage — no, I implore — you to read each article. These are not the writings of fringe elements of our society. These are not the opinions of the extreme partisans of one political party or another. These are the careful, thoughtful writings of experts in their various fields. And they all conclude the same thing: Congress must impeach, convict, and remove Donald Trump from office to save our democracy. Again, I implore you to read this series of articles. Then you must absolutely perform your constitutional duty: Impeach, convict, and remove Donald Trump. Or democracy may not survive if Congress fails to do its part.
