Concern Regarding Defunding of Public Media

I am deeply concerned about the President’s attempt to defund public media. I grew up on PBS and NPR, and so I know how deeply valuable this kind of programing is for inspiring kids and bringing communities together. In some rural areas, public media is the only programming available! It’s critically important that we continue to support this valuable public service. The funding for public media makes up a very small percentage of the budget, but those funds mean everything for small public stations.
