The nation’s Historic Preservation infrastructure is under threat. The Trump administration has not released monies alllocated for the 2025 Historic Preservation Fund. Moreover, the proposed 2026 budget largely seeks to eliminate the Historic Preservation Fund! Preservation activities as practiced since the Preservation Act of 1966 are vital to the nation’s quality of life. Please work to ensure that they continue to be funded! State Historic Preservation Offices require federal funds to function!
