According to my history textbooks, America has 3 equal branches of government. Congress, one of the branches, has the ‘power of the purse’. According to my history textbooks, America is made up of 50 states and the elected President is elected to serve ALL 50 states. Please explain to me how Donald Trump is allowed to withhold money allocated by Congress. Not only is he withholding money and misdirecting money from organizations and services funded by Congress HE IS WITHHOLDING MONEY FROM STATES THAT DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!! Please explain to me HOW YOU ARE PERMITTING THIS TO HAPPEN?!?!? This violates our Constitution, our moral imperatives and our way of life. Congress needs to ACT NOW!!!
