Repeal and narrow obscenity laws

A prominent feminist was arrested at Canadian customs for pornography she was carrying into the country for an anti-pornography lecture after she supported the passage of obscenity and antiporn laws of that country. Her books were confiscated. This happened years ago, and it's not the only incident of its kind. Supporters of obscenity laws and criminalization of expression wind up being persecuted due to what they hoped to pass actually coming into force. Obscenity laws are uniquely designed by religious facists to punish outgroups. As a constituent I am calling for the repeal of these outdated and discriminatory laws.
