The actions of Trump and Vance were deplorable when meeting with Zelensky. I and the majority of my fellow Americans recognize that Russia is the aggressor and committing war crimes and terrorism in Ukraine. We want and expect the USA to support Ukraine and condemn Russia’s actions. What I witnessed was shameful. I feel embarrassed to be an American citizen after such a display from our president and vice president. This type of interaction with any foreign leader should be condemned. I want you and all of my representatives to fight for military and financial support of Ukraine. A fair and just peace is what the USA government should be working towards. Russia should withdraw from illegally seized territory of Ukraine and pay reparations. The USA should facilitate and provide security guarantees to protect Ukraine as a sovereign state.
