I urge you to confirm as many qualified judges for President Biden as possible. Not only is it critical to provide a needed check on President Trump's extreme agenda, it is also fair. President Trump confirmed a huge number of judges in his lame duck period, and Biden deserves the same treatment and consideration. I also urge you to take whatever other actions are possible to uphold the checks and balances designed by our forefathers in the Constitution, not only in your power as Congress but also in supporting an independent judiciary. This is critical to the success of the American experiment. Prove every third and fourth grade teacher correct when they say a President is not a king, but rather the head of one of 3 branches of government all of which matter.
