I am writing to urge you to use your office to block any efforts to gerrymander Pennsylvania’s legislative or congressional maps. Pennsylvanians deserve fair, transparent, and representative districts—not maps that are drawn to serve the interests of one party or a select few politicians. Gerrymandering undermines democracy by diluting votes, silencing communities, and eroding trust in government. We need district maps that reflect the people of Pennsylvania, not partisan agendas. I encourage you to counterbalance any attempt at political manipulation of the redistricting process and instead stand firmly for fair maps that protect every voter’s voice. Pennsylvania has the opportunity to set a standard for integrity and fairness in our elections. Please use your position to ensure that future maps represent the diversity and strength of our Commonwealth and that no voter is left behind or ignored.
