The Trump Adminstration's deployment of the National Guard and placement of police under Federal control is a direct threat to the freedom of US citizens. It leaves police behavior up to the discretion of the individual officers, and is going to result in harm and peril to the general public, with no consequences to the officers who are now operating without guardrails. If this is not checked right now, we are giving up our fundamental rights to free speech and freedom to protest. This cannot happen.
