Deploy National Guard to protect Michiganders

Please petition Governor Whitmer to activate the National Guard ASAP, and no later than April 20th, before the Insurrection Act can be invoked by President Trump. My children’s father is in the National Guard, and I am deeply concerned that Trump will try to use the Guard against Michigan’s residents, especially at protests. His wildly unconstitutional acts toward pro-Palestinian protestors have showed he’s willing to break the law if he doesn’t like what is citizens are protesting about. Since the National Guard cannot be activated twice, this would help protect them from unconstitutional orders, and us from harm. Thank you for considering.
