As we all watch our 401Ks and savings plunge as Trump intentionally ranks the markets, most of us have reasonable fears for a recession that could lead to a depression. Please intervene here and reclaim the powers of the purse that are intended for Congress. Trump manufactured the "emergency" so that he could assume more powers. There have to be some reasonable Republicans that you can convince to end this fake emergency and restore tariff powers to Congress and end this ridiculous trade war. The economy was in incredible shape on January 19th before the inauguration. I am soon to be 53 years old. I had hopes of retiring in 10 years. That is now very much in doubt due to this madness. I truly feel sorry for those that are retired or closer to retirement than I am. How will those people get by as the market continues to crash? He has created an environment where our allies and traditng partners can no longer trust the US. This has to be stopped. Thank you
