Trump's appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services is deeply alarming. Kennedy lacks any relevant qualifications or expertise to lead such a critical agency responsible for safeguarding public health. Moreover, he has perpetuated numerous dangerous conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated claims surrounding vaccines, environmental causes of disease, and more. Entrusting him with this position risks undermining trust in evidence-based science and could endanger public health initiatives meant to protect all Americans. I urge you to reject this nomination and resist any efforts to install someone so fundamentally unqualified and prone to disseminating misinformation in such a vital leadership role. The Department of Health and Human Services requires an individual with a proven track record of relying on objective scientific consensus, not someone who peddles in conspiracy theories that fly in the face of established medical facts. This Cabinet position has profound impacts on the wellbeing of our nation, and Kennedy's fringe views render him unsuitable to serve in this capacity. Please act to safeguard the integrity of our public health institutions.
