Rep. Thompson, you have done wrong by Pennsylvanians on the first vote of the destructive bill that our President finds beautiful. How will you be able to have a moment’s worth of peace knowing that your vote advances a bill that will take away health insurance and food support from people in need? How will deal with the burden of knowing you contributed to a massive increase in our public debt? The bill also makes major structural changes to student loans and cuts basic research funding by more than 56%. This will set America back significantly. If you have any semblance of morality, you will oppose this bill.
