Ripping families apart and deporting hardworking immigrants will tear at the fabric of our communities and economy. Rather than perpetuating an exploitative system that benefits the ultra-rich, our representatives should be fighting for policies that uplift all people. Tax revenues should be invested in affordable healthcare, quality education, sustainable jobs, and a social safety net that protects the dignity of every person. Corporations and the wealthy must pay their fair share. This draconian budget framework represents the antithesis of a society built on justice, compassion and shared prosperity. I urge you to vigorously oppose this misguided proposal and instead champion an economic vision that prioritizes the needs of working families over corporate greed.
