Gaza is starving, not because of Hamas, but because of Israel and how this country funds them. This blood is on our hands. Babies are dying and children are crying themselves to sleep due to Israel starving them. Aid has been blocked for months on purpose to starve and ethically cleanse the Gaza Strip. America stands for freedom for all and this is NOT freedom. Why are my tax dollars going to fund this? Why do I not have a say in what my money goes to? Israel is the aggressor. They have been for 75+ years. Since the Nakba. I am asking you to condemn Israel's actions and the Zionist ideology. I am asking you to fight for those who can no longer fight for themselves. America sanctioned South Africa during apartheid. How is this any different? Israel is and has been an apartheid state who has been doing a genocide for almost two years now. This has to end. Palestinians deserve to live and have a state. This needs to end in a one state solution. Palestine will not be free otherwise. Just because Israel is America's only ally in the Middle East doesn't mean we should support their atrocities. I ask you to fight for Palestine, if not because you have morals, then because your constituents are begging you. For every one of me who's writing you I promise you there are many more who aren't. Fight for humanity, not your own interest. If nothing is done now there will be no more Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. A true tragedy. A holocaust. This is a time sensitive subject and I hope you do what's right. History will remember where you stand.
