Donald Trump is proposing to nominate as heads of cabinet agencies many millionaires and billionaires – people whose sole qualifications seem to be that they are being proposed to lead an agency so that they can tear it down. as Donald Trump has made it clear he wants them to do. I Think it is morally and legally wrong to allow the United States government to be destroyed by this man Trump and his unqualified, malicious billionaire friends. In the course of this planned destruction, Trump and his Project 2025 friends will do their best to tear down Congress and destroy what’s left of its power as well. So for today, I write about Trump’s MAGA extremist and conspiracy theorist supporter named Kash Patel, who is proposed by Trump to take charge of the FBI. Patel has been brazen in announcing his intention to weaponize the FBI at Donald Trump‘s direction against government officials, journalists, nonprofit groups, and the American people. As you know, this agency has a significant role in maintaining the rule of law, which we are supposed to value in this country as an important tenet of democracy. The FBI is not supposed to be a tool of retribution and oppression to be wielded at the whims of whatever aspiring dictator happens to be in the White House. As I’m sure you also know, that’s why FBI directors are appointed for 10 year terms – specifically to avoid politicization of the bureau. Control of a US government agency as powerful as the FBI must not be willingly handed over to another unhinged Trump sycophant, which Kash Patel surely is. Please stand against recess appointments, and against appointments of unqualified syncophants and criminals to “lead” United States government agencies. Do your best to make sure that there is an FBI background check on each of them, and that a Senate confirmation hearing is held for each. Thank you.
