I'm trying to have faith in Democratic leaders to act decisively to end the clear & present danger that the Trump administration poses. DJT has done nothing for anyone but the very rich & the "Axis of Evil" He's succeeded in removing most of the safeguards put in place to protect us from corruption. His Cabinet consists of dangerously incompetent clowns. He has weaponized our government. By ignoring a judge's order he has created a true Constitutional Crisis. There's no proof that the people deported to El Salvador were gang members or even undocumented. ICE is now arresting anyone who "looks illegal," which appears to mean anyone not light-haired & pale. Are Democrats next? I'm a retired nurse who paid into Social Security for over 4 decades. It's my only personal income & a recent injury has made it impossible for me to work. My earned Social Security, neither an entitlement nor a "Ponzi scheme," is now threatened by Musk, the richest man in the world, who bought, & quite possibly "fixed," this election for Trump. Musk has no knowledge of how any part of this works but has been allowed by a neurologically & morally impaired POTUS to destroy USAID & obtain our personal & private financial info. I've watched the virtual town hall you had, & I do appreciate the efforts you've made to put roadblocks in the way of some of the chaos. Most attempts by Dems have resembled swatting at a swarm of flies, instead of reacting like this is the massive swarm of killer bees it is! Attending the Address to the Joint Session of Congress & showing polite disapproval, voting yes on even one Cabinet pick, & splitting the votes on the budget, is making the Democratic Congress look weak & compliant. We, the People, were forced to try to solve this in Nov. at the ballot box. A convicted felon, a man with documented ties to Russia, a man who is known to have paid off the parents of children he abused, & who did nothing to stop the January 6th attempt to overthrow our government, was allowed to run for office! This is the fault of all 3 branches of govt., & while I have held out hope that there's a plan we citizens aren't privy to, to save Democracy, I now doubt it. April 20th, Hitler's birthday, is fast approaching. Trump will be free, on that day, to officially declare a border emergency on false pretenses & give his thugs free rein to arrest anyone they wish. What are you doing to prevent this? Musk needs to go! He was originally supposed to be here in the US on a student visa. He never enrolled as a student. He's running amok & is an unelected clear& present danger. Please stop acting like any of this is close to normal. There will never be midterm elections, unless you act now. It will be a faux election at best, like the ones in Russia. Our long-time allies are no longer our allies. We're already weakened in every possible way. Please respond to this with strength and the determination to right these wrongs.
