I urge you to vote NO on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) if it includes provisions expanding U.S.-Israeli military integration, particularly Section 1217, the U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative.
This initiative is a backdoor workaround to sustain and deepen American military support for Israel, even as public opposition to that support grows. Deepening military cooperation, intelligence sharing, and technological integration ties our national security apparatus more closely to the actions of a foreign government and risks drawing the United States further into regional conflict.
By expanding these commitments, we risk becoming further complicit in the genocide perpetrated against Palestinians and the devastating human rights abuses that have accompanied it.
We need less entanglement, not deeper military integration.
