What on earth are YOU doing?
This country is facing crisis after crisis, and President Trump is reportedly focused on renaming Lake Ontario to “Lake America” because Canada refuses to do what he wants. Seriously? Is this the leadership we are supposed to accept while America is struggling to stay afloat?
Our food is unsafe. Our water is polluted. Our air is dirty. Families are being crushed by the cost of groceries, rent, and medicine. Students are falling behind their peers in other developed nations. Infrastructure is crumbling. People are working full-time jobs and still cannot afford a decent life.
And instead of addressing these emergencies, the President is apparently fixated on renaming lakes and picking petty fights with our closest allies.
Enough.
I am asking you—my elected representative—to speak out. Use your platform. Stop hiding behind party loyalty and political calculation while this country falls apart at the seams.
You were not elected to defend every ridiculous distraction that comes from the White House. You were elected to fight for your constituents.
Fight for clean water. Fight for safe food. Fight for clean air. Fight to lower the cost of housing, groceries, and medicine. Fight to strengthen our schools and give American children the education they deserve. Fight to repair our communities and restore our relationships with our allies. Fight for US!
I am tired of watching manufactured nonsense take center stage while real Americans struggle.
History will remember who spoke up and who stayed silent.
So speak out. Say this is wrong. Demand better. Hold this administration accountable. And start fighting for me—the constituent you were elected to represent, me.
America does not need another absurd distraction. America wants help.
America needs leaders willing to solve problems.
Start acting like it.
