Voting against the budget and CR deal would not only be better for Americans as a whole because it would prevent Trump from benefiting,but it would also protect key rights by stopping disastrous anti-abortion, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ, anti-worker, anti-science and anti-American provisions from coming into force. The House Energy Committee's 'child safety' package is just as bad as KOSA was before, thankfully, the problematic duty of care provision was scrapped. As your constituent I am asking you to reject the package and vote against the CR and budget deal.
