Remove unconstitutional SEC. 70302. RESTRICTION ON ENFORCEMENT
The provision buried in the "Big Beautiful" bill (or call it like it is Brutally Bad bill) would severely undermine the judiciary's ability to enforce its orders against the executive branch. Requiring litigants to pay bonds before courts can hold officials in contempt for violating orders is an unconstitutional overreach that violates separation of powers. This retroactive attack on the rule of law undermines rulings already issued against the administration. As a cornerstone of democracy, the courts must absolutely retain their authority to act as a check on the other branches of government. Allowing the executive to flout court orders without consequence poses a grave threat to our system of checks and balances. I urge you to remove this provision from the bill to preserve judicial independence and the rule of law.
