Electric shock gloves for ICE? NO WAY. VOTE NO please and rein in this rogue law-breaking agency. ICE as an agency and ICE agents as individuals have shown themselves egregiously unworthy of public trust. ICE policy has been to contravene the laws and constitution. Agency heads have given instructions to deny legal and constitutional rights and to operate with a dangerous quota system. They have failed to train officers adequately, have balked at implementing body camera use even after funds were appropriated; the agent has allowed lying at every level................................................ICE agents have carried out extrajudicial executions, shooting innocent people at point blank range, or even dragged them out of vehicles and immobilised them and then murdered them. ICE regularly detains and even deports those who have no reason to be detained. ...................................All this despite that fact (as you well know) that immigration offences are CIVIL not criminal violations. ICE agents have been recorded using language of hate and prejudice, racial profiling, and flaunting their power to injure and cause pain. Too many currently employed by ICE have rap sheets or records of domestic abuse.............................................................................................................................................................A feckless Congressional GOP has funded ICE to the level of BILLIONS even while cutting SNAP, HEAD START, and ACCESS to health insurance subsidies.................................................................And now ICE wants ELECTRIC SHOCK GLOVES? Please, SAY NO. VOTE NO. SPEAK OUT. ...............................................................This is carte blanche for dangerous abuse, cruelty, and torture. The very concept of these gloves is a dystopian aberration from human decency. America is already too militarised at every level and ICE is UNWORTHY OF THE TRUST of the AMERICAN CONGRESS. WHEN WILL YOU REIN IN THIS MADNESS? DO YOU WANT TO BE REMEMBERED AS ENABLERS OF A REGIME THAT WILL BE COMPARED TO HITLER'S???
