Investigate the $1 million payment made to fund research specifically designed to harm transgender people. This is not a scientific dispute. It is a bribe, and the findings it produced should not be allowed to shape any legislation or regulation.
When a corporation or interest group pays $1 million to generate research targeting a vulnerable population, every policy built on that research is corrupted from the start. Trans people are already fighting for basic recognition under the law. Using bought science to strip away their rights is not governance. It is an attack funded by a check.
No study tied to this payment should be treated as neutral evidence in any legislative or regulatory process. Full disclosure of every funding source behind research used to justify anti-trans policy is the bare minimum. Demand it.
