I am writing once again to express my deep outrage at your continued silence and inaction as Donald Trump’s lawlessness escalates. His demand for $230 million from the Department of Justice and his unilateral destruction of the East Wing of the White House without authorization are not only unethical — they are criminal acts that undermine the very foundations of our democracy.
You need to work with Democrats to open the government today. You are not even trying to negotiate to save healthcare for millions of American, yet you let Trump send $40 billion to Argentina. You won't save healthcare for the most vulnerable, yet Trump wants $230 million for his grifing of American taxpayers. God only knows what else he has stolen from us. The government shut down is ENTIRELY ON YOU. We all know it
I have written to you before, urging you to stand up for the rule of law and the Constitution. Yet you do absolutely nothing. Your failure to act or even speak out makes it clear that you do not represent me or the millions of Americans who believe no one — not even a former president — is above the law.
I demand that you take a public stand, call for accountability, and uphold your oath to defend this country against corruption and abuse of power. Silence is complicity.
