The United States must take a firm stance against Russia's aggression and authoritarian policies by enacting strict economic sanctions and severing diplomatic ties. Russia's actions, including its invasion of Ukraine and crackdown on dissent, represent a blatant violation of international norms and human rights. Continued engagement with the Kremlin only serves to embolden its reckless behavior and undermines global security. It is imperative that we stand in solidarity with Ukraine and other nations threatened by Russian belligerence. Failing to hold Russia accountable will only invite further destabilization and conflict. For the sake of democracy, freedom, and peace, the U.S. must sever all cooperative efforts with the Russian regime until it demonstrates a genuine commitment to respecting the rules-based international order.
