I am writing as your constituent and as an Army veteran to ask you to support efforts to impeach, convict, and remove Pete Hegseth. His leadership of the military has been disastrous and dangerous: decimating the ranks of experienced senior leaders, ignoring the law of armed combat and international law of war, hurting Ukraine, helping Russia, prosecuting a war against Iran without congressional approval and without adequate planning and preparation as well as against the advice of any experienced war planners, politicizing the chaplain corps and turning the military into Christian nationalist haven, firing women and people of color for no reason other than bigotry, wasting appropriated funds, exposing classified information illegally, and more. He is unfit, he is harming our current readiness and future safety, and he must go.
