You could have stopped this. Since you didn’t, your name will go down with Trump’s for tanking the stock market and ushering in a recession. Congress has the power of the purse, since you’ve either forgotten or didn’t learn, which means you have the power to stop these asinine “tariffs.” Since you’ve abdicated your power, how long do you think Trump is going to keep Congress around? You’ve shown you’re unnecessary. Shame.
