I’m writing to ask that you exclude the $50 million in infrastructure funding for Wakefield Township from the 2026 budget. The porcupine mountains are an important part of the Michigan ecosystem and they should be protected. Michigan residents oppose the building of the Copperwood Mine - please listen to us and don’t allow this to happen. The risk of pollution to Lake Superior is too great!
