President Trump continues his full bore assault on our laws, government employees and the Rule of Law. He is gutting or simply ignoring the laws, rules and regulations that have made our country prosperous, and our workers and the public safe. Now, he’s simply told his minions to stop enforcing existing regulations. Meanwhile, YOU cheer him on and praise his destruction of our government and the rule of law. The Washington Post described his most recent assault this way. “If we lived in a world where there existed a bunch of malicious DOT employees whose mission it was to screw over innocent pipeline owners or car manufacturers, I’d understand the purpose of imposing these guidelines,” one of the employees said. “But the people I know, and have worked with for years, are just trying to make sure everyone follows the rules.”
What he is doing is unacceptable. He has no mandate to destroy our country. What YOU are doing is unacceptable and is clearly not what your constituents want or what they votes for. YOU are supposed to represent ALL the people in your district. As it stands now, you clearly DO NOT represent ALL of your constituents’ points of view. Please stop supplicating at the feet of the despicable criminal that Republican voters put in the White House. YOU have a responsibility to uphold existing laws, rules and regulations. And so does Trump. YOU are supporting the actions of a depraved, intellectually and emotionally unstable person. STOP IT, NOW. YOUR constituents who did not vote for Trump want you to start representing the common interests of ALL the people in your district.
