What is wrong with you? Where did your ethics and morality go? “We the People” means all people—not only those who are white, straight, and right-wing. Have you forgotten what God commands you to do? Treat all fellow humans with the same kindness, dignity, respect, and love that you would want for yourself. That command is not conditional. It leaves no room for you to pick and choose when, where, or to whom you apply it. It is a command. Here is another point to consider: you are also commanded by God not to judge others. Period. So how is it that you call yourselves Christian while defying the commands of God? Please explain this to the world. Please explain it to your fellow Americans—whether they were born in America, emigrated to America, or came here seeking refuge. As a reminder: unless you are of Native American descent, you, too, are an immigrant. You will be best served—both in the near future and in the history books of tomorrow—if you remember God’s commands in every action you take, personally and professionally. Praise be.
