Democrat party reform

To: Sen. Slotkin, Rep. Huizenga, Sen. Peters

From: A constituent in Battle Creek, MI

May 8

We are in primary season and I’m concerned that if the democrats don’t reinvent themselves they are going to be sadly left behind. The independent candidates seem to be winning and they are not using super PAC’s to fund their campaigns. If the democrats are serious about campaign fundraising reform they should walk the talk. Breaking ties with the super PACs and wealthy donors is a start, I know Elyssa does not take super PACs funding. Start listening to the independents, the democrat and republican parties are not representing we the people and there is a push to not support them. I myself feel I’m more independent or a more progressive democrat. I don’t see a front runner for president at this time on the other side of the aisle from the republicans. We need people to get out and vote and I’m afraid they will be disenfranchised with the selection.
