Demand Fox News Fire Jesse Watters for Promoting Rape Culture

To: Rep. Bergman, Sen. Peters, Sen. Slotkin

From: A constituent in Beulah, MI

July 17

The Petition Goal We are calling on Fox News executives and network advertisers to immediately terminate prime-time host Jesse Watters following his deeply disturbing and dangerous on-air comments regarding women and sexual assault. The Statement On July 2026, during a discussion about military health initiatives, Fox News host Jesse Watters openly laughed while making casual, warning statements about women being targeted by men with high testosterone levels. Chortling on air, Watters remarked that men would take a "triple boost" of testosterone and warned, “Women on base – you guys better be careful! Port calls, women in Asia – you better be careful.” This is not harmless banter; it is the textbook definition of normalizing and joking about rape culture. By framing sexual aggression or predatory behavior as an inevitable, laughing byproduct of hormonal spikes, Watters completely undermines the severe crisis of sexual assault within the military framework. It dismisses the safety of female service members and women abroad as nothing more than a late-night punchline. This is far from the first time Jesse Watters has used his massive platform to push toxic, inappropriate, and misogynistic commentary under the excuse of "satire" or "figurative" speech. Fox News cannot continue to claim they value a respectful discourse while keeping a host who actively mocks sexual violence and trivializes predatory threats against women. We demand that Fox News take immediate action to terminate Jesse Watters and that corporate sponsors pull their advertising from his program until accountability is met.
