In addition to the fight over Medicaid, Medicare, and taking back congressional spending, the epstein files and victims testimony, ICE, posse comatatis, and everything else, we need an investigation of government censorship. I'm not a Kimmel fan, but it's not a question of like but over a dead basic right to free speech. It's not just celebrities being silenced, but disagreement with the authoritarian state across the board (law firms, abc/nbc/disney/etc, regular people on social media, and even speaking out at work about misdoings, questionable firings, racism, and discrimination against Trans and lgbtq people). It's a national problem needing a national investigation. It matters less what the repubs do/if congressional action is taken, but that we (Ds) at least document what's being lost so rapidly It's impossible to track. We need you to fight as hard as we are in the streets, against ice, against unconstitutional troop deployments, against illegal firings at work, and the shredding of our society in favor of oligarchs and dictators. Fight like hell for more than you're asking on the budget and investigate and document what we can't about impeachable offenses, the Supreme Court insanity, weaponized lawsuits, and free speech.
